Private Training Programs
Private training programs are developed based on the history, current abilities, and future goals of each new client. Improved fitness is developed through the mastery of the fundamentals and the ability to apply them with increased intensity. No one starts at the same level with the exact same problems and needs. The design of the private program takes these individual characteristics into account to help the client achieve mastery of movements and help them on their way to improved strength, stamina, agility, endurance, coordination, balance, etc. How far the client wants to improve and how they intend to use their improved fitness is entirely up to them.
Semi-Private Training Programs
Semi-private training involves a pre-set circuit type of program where individual exercise prescription is not always available. This type of program is for 2 individuals wanting to workout together, with similar abilities and goals.
Consultations
Learn about your physical abilities and how to improve your condition to reach your goals. Clients are required to demonstrate basic strength, flexibility and aerobic conditioning abilities along with a discussion of their knowledge of fitness. Clients are graded on their abilities and then provided with recommendations for improvement. Consultations are for the individual not looking for continued private training, but rather a starter program they can do on their own.
Locations
I teach the majority of training sessions at the One-2-One Training Center located at the corner of Kirby and HWY 59 (www.one2onetrainingcenter.com). They have an adequate supply of equipment and space for conducting the weight training, calisthenics and aerobic exercises suggested by my programs. Membership at One-2-One Training Center is necessary; however, the cost is minimal and there are no contract obligations.
Both private and semi-private training instruction is also provided at Memorial Park (there are really nice pull-up bars around the running track) or your home if you live within a reasonable distance from Memorial Park. I can bring medicine balls, mats, boxes (for jumps), parrallete bars, and dumbbells so we can have a really great workout. Rates for sessions conducted at Memorial Park and/or your home differ from those published on this website. Please call or e-mail for rates and available times.
Training sessions can also be conducted at your home (prices may differ from regular rates depending on the distance traveled), and I can bring the same equipment outlined for the Memorial Park location if necessary.
